Volunteer Opportunities
You can make a difference right here in our community by partnering with Lubbock Area United Way. There are lots of different ways to get involved.
Loaned Executive
The Loaned Executive Program is one of the most comprehensive management and leadership training programs in Lubbock. More than 1,500 individuals have gone through the program since it began in 1968, and many of them have gone on to top management positions within their companies.
Program Review
Our annual Program Review process is an opportunity for you to see the full impact of how donations to United Way are used. Through the volunteer process, you will be trained and equipped to determine the effectiveness of United Way funded programs.
Serve on a Committee
United Way is an organization that is driven under the direction of community volunteers. Join one of our committees and help shape the future of United Way and our community
United We Read
Volunteer to read to second graders across Lubbock County through our annual United We Read event. There are also opportunities to prepare classroom materials prior to the event.
United Way Youth Division
Join youth across the community in learning more about Lubbock Area United Way agencies, volunteering, and participating in community service projects. Open to all area high school students in grades 9 -12.
Women United
Women United offers members year-round opportunities for engagement including volunteer and advocacy work on issues such as child abuse for women who are Leadership Giving Circle members.
