Volunteers Join 2016 United Way Campaign Cabinet

Lubbock Area United Way Campaign Chair Amber Dean has announced the leadership team for the 2016 Annual Campaign.  Dean and the 11 Vice Chairs will work together to recruit the more than 400 other volunteers needed to assist in the community-wide fund-raising effort. "I can’t wait to see what this year has in store,” said Dean. “I am equally as thankful for the great work that the more than 400 other volunteers will bring to this year’s campaign. There is a lot of work to do, but together, as a community, we can do great things.”

Campaign volunteers will work through November of this year to raise donations that will be invested in United Way’s 23 Community Partner agencies in 2017.

The 2016 Annual Campaign will officially launch at the Campaign Kick-Off Luncheon on August 25, 11:30 AM, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The Campaign goal will be announced at this time and a live auction will be held for a Lexus Champions for Charities Golf Package, which includes entry for two at the 2016 Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship held at Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Links at Spanish Bay, and Spyglass Hill Golf Course.
