LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) - The following is a news release from the Lubbock Area United Way:
Lubbock Area United Way will hold its Mid-Campaign Report Luncheon at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on Thursday, October 18th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This event marks the midway point of United Way’s campaign that began August 23rd and ends November 27th. More than 750 supporters and volunteers are expected to attend.
The program will feature an update on progress toward the campaign goal of $5,935,151 and a special report on United Way’s inaugural United We Read event which took place in five local school districts on September 20th.
The Mid-Campaign Report Luncheon is generously underwritten by United Way’s Campaign Event Sponsors, allowing the event to be free of charge to the community. The 2018 Campaign Event Sponsors are as follows:
