Hope Delivered

Hope Delivered

By Mark Griffin, 2021 Campaign Chair

As we move into the home stretch of our 75th-Anniversary Campaign, I am so very proud of our volunteers, our Community Partners, the United Way staff, and our community as a whole. Our message of hope delivered is resonating throughout the Lubbock area, and the individuals and companies who invest in this campaign and our community are responding in a most generous and heart-warming fashion.

United Way’s mission of Giving • People • Hope is inspiring stories and action that is building on a 75-year history that we can all be proud of.

My message to our team of volunteers and you, our loyal supporter, is to finish the campaign strong, to leave no stone unturned, to capture every opportunity to deliver hope, healing, and joy.

My message to our team of volunteers and you, our loyal supporter, is to finish the campaign strong, to leave no stone unturned, to capture every opportunity to deliver hope, healing, and joy.

This campaign is sending a clear message to the South Plains that we are committed to providing our Community Partners with the tools and resources to say “yes” to the underserved and marginalized in our community. The South Plains is joining hands with our campaign volunteers to make this a reality.

Thank you is an inadequate response to those who have volunteered and those who have invested in this campaign with generous hearts. I am so very proud to live in a community that will not turn its back on its fellow citizens in their time of need.

The Lubbock Area United Way’s mission of Giving • People • Hope is being communicated in a meaningful, committed fashion. That voice is changing lives because of your passion and generosity.

As we finish the work of the campaign, we are ensuring the individual missions of our partner agencies are fulfilled. I encourage you to be grateful for the blessing of the United Way, its Community Partners, and their daily, life-changing work.
