2019 Point In Time Survey

We're partnering again this year with the South Plains Homeless Consortium for the 2019 Point in Time Survey, coming up on January 24th. The survey counts Lubbock's homeless population and creates a picture of the reality of homelessness in our community. These statistics will be used to advocate for Lubbock's homeless population and for funding for organizations such as United Way Community Partner, The Salvation Army.

You can help by volunteering to count and conduct surveys on the 24th. There are two ways to volunteer. You can either volunteer as part of the street team which will go out to various sections of the city throughout the day to look for individuals who might be experiencing homelessness, or you can volunteer to count individuals staying at an agency such as The Salvation Army or Women's Protective Services. When you sign-up to volunteer, you will be asked to attend training. Three trainings are available:

January 17th, 5:30-6:30 PM

January 23rd, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
