Public Policy
The Public Policy Committee plays a vital role in our community by serving as a link between non-profit organizations and government.
Members of the Public Policy Committee serve to communicate, inform and educate elected and appointed government officials at the local, state and federal levels about issues related to Lubbock Area United Way's mission.
In 2008, the committee held two legislative briefings with elected government officials and representatives. Below, are issue briefings from the meetings:
