Programs funded by the Lubbock Area United Way:
Mentoring Program: Helps children ages 5-18 reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have measurable impact on youth. Programs include a community-based program and a school-based program. Individuals and couples can serve as mentors.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters are:
At least 16 years of age (Lunch Buddy program) & 18 years of age (Community Program)
Have at least 1-2 hours per week to spend time with a child
Positive individuals who will enjoy building a friendship with a child and make a difference in their lives
Little Brothers and Little Sisters are:
Between the ages of 5 and 18 years of age
Want or need an additional positive role model in their life
